Una vez ya habéis conocido a Laura y su vida, y las cosas que nos unen. Quiero haceros entrar en sus libros. Marimar nos pidió que las autoras fueran de habla hispana, y Laura tiene esa pequeña gran peculariedad que, pese a que el español es su lengua materna, escribe principalmente en inglés.

No puedo haceros una sinopsis porque se trata ni más ni menos que de 10 relatos cortos con temática paranormal.
Sin embargo, Laura os deja un resumen de su historia, titulada The Holy Company.

Porque leerla: Su mayor aliciente es que está escrito por una española, en España y trata de una leyenda gallega. Se nota sobre todo cuando habla de gastronomía. Laura conoce bien el país, y también conoce bien las relaciones humanas. La relación entre Sophie y Anna es pura, llena de sentimiento. Solo me apena que no haya dado más protagonismo a la compañía fantasmal que advierte de una muerte próxima.
Into the mystic es una fantástica colección de historias de amor, estudios sobre criaturas mitológicas y aceptación de uno mismo. Animo a todo el que desee explorar lo inexplorado, a leer este libro.

Me sentí como si hubiera estado de vacaciones cuando acabe.» Y la cosa sigue, comentarios y comentarios que celebran lo bien que Laura consigue presentar Pamplona al mundo.

Atención, se trata de una historia corta. Muy interesante si no quieres leerte una novela entera en inglés.

Porque leerla: La historia esta bien formada. Los personajes son adorables, desde la incompetente de moda de Gabriel a la inocencia cuasi de primer amor de Aitor. Dan ganas de achucharlos y es un placer ver como se conocen mejor a base de juegos frikis totales. Más en mi reseña.
